Commissioned and performed by acclaimed dancers Charlotte Petersen and Lena Schattenberg once more with feeling is a compelling and hypnotic duet that centers on ideas of synchrony and its opposite. At their invite, celebrated English choreographer and designer Theo Clinkard has conceived an evening in two distinct parts that requires the performers to practice directing attention off the body and to dance the space between them. Across its duration, once more with feeling simultaneously attempts to use illusion and affect to choreograph the audience body, inviting reflection on the complex nature of what connects us and how it might eventually transform our very being.
With a sound score by Samir Kennedy and lighting by Emilio Diaz Abregú this duet is the latest in a series of works hosted by Münster-based ensemble MNEME kollektiv subsumed under the title MNEME invites.
